Shiatsu

The origins of Shiatsu lie in traditional Chinese and Japanese health teachings. Translated, “shi” means fingers and “atsu” means pressure – which is applied with fingertips, palms, elbows, knees or feet, in comfortable exercise clothing, on a mat on the floor.

What is the effect of Shiatsu?

Life energy (Qi) flows in our meridians. Too much, too little or congested energy causes an imbalance, which we perceive individually as, for example, tiredness, tension, nervousness, exhaustion or pain. The potential of Shiatsu lies in the activation of the self-healing powers and the increase of physical and mental well-being.
Shiatsu is suitable for all age groups.
